Well known for his extremely accurate pencil illustrations, particularly of the EE Lightning, Simon has now built a reputation as a specialist in British Cold War aircraft.
ARMY AIR CORPS COMMISSION
We are very pleased to share Simon’s latest work, commissioned by the Army Air Corps.
Entitled ‘Apache Swansong’ it depicts the final flypast of the Apache MK1 helicopters used by 673 Squadron at Middle Wallop before retiring from Army service in December, 2020.

Simon is a Full Member of the prestigious Guild of Aviation Artists and has exhibited at the Annual Aviation Paintings of the Year Exhibition in London on numerous occasions.
