I’ve always been fascinated by the Victor, even today it seems futuristic, the lines and graceful curves seem to give it an almost predatory presence. It may be verging on heresy to say this but it’s my favourite of the V-bombers.
Creating a pencil illustration such as this is a time-consuming process with around 50 hours of work needed to complete the drawing.
The original illustration was exhibited and sold at the 2007 Guild of Aviation Artists’ Annual Summer Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London.
