This painting was commissioned by the Army Air Corps and captures the final pre-retirement flypast of the Mk1 Apache helicopter at Middle Wallop on December 8th, 2020. Led by Major Steve Jones AFC, the formation of eight helicopters from 673 Squadron flew over the home of the Army Air Corps training establishment for a final time before retiring from service.
The original painting now hangs in the Officers Mess at Middle Wallop.
